Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking an AP/CP Pathologist to interpret surgical pathology and cytology, and to provide clinical lab consultation. The role includes participation in quality assurance and on-call duties as needed.

The successful candidate will hold an MD/DO with an unrestricted license, be board-eligible in AP/CP, and may have fellowship training in CT/SP/GU/GI.

Qualifications

  • Board-eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology preferred.
  • Must have MD/DO degree and an unrestricted license.
  • Fellowship training in CT/SP/GU/GI preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret surgical pathology, cytology, and clinical lab work.
  • Provide clinical lab consultation as assigned.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and ROSE as needed.
  • Lead or support departmental activities and committees.
