Havertys Furniture, Inc. in Pineville, NC seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to partner with an experienced Havertys Manager and be groomed for promotion to Branch Manager, leading a Havertys store and delivering world-class service.

You will coach, train, merchandise, manage inventory, and drive sales while ensuring a professional customer experience for team members and shoppers. The role requires flexible hours, including nights/weekends, with relocation within Havertys possible.

Qualifications

• College education preferred; high school or equivalent acceptable with experience.
• Sales-driven with ability to build customer relationships.
• Furniture and interior design experience is a major plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proven leadership, motivation and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach store team to achieve sales and service goals.
• Ensure outstanding customer experience and showroom presentation.
• Manage operations, inventory control and merchandising.
• Collaborate with store leadership to execute company initiatives.
• Relate to customers and design services to enhance purchases.
• Willingness to relocate to other Havertys locations across the market.
