Job summary

InterDigital, Inc. seeks an experienced Patent Operations Paralegal to join its Portfolio Operations team.

You will support the management of InterDigital's worldwide patent portfolio, including disclosure processing, prosecution workflow, and internal/external coordination. This role requires 5+ years in patent prep/prosecution, strong knowledge of IP management software, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Significant experience with IP Management Software.
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
• Experience with Legal Tracker preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Patents team to ensure the efficient management of the patent portfolio.
• Process invention disclosures, oversee prosecution workflow, and organize portfolio reviews.
• Act as liaison between internal personnel, outside counsel and vendors to ensure adherence to processes.
• Maintain business data using the company's IP Management Software.
• Support the patent business by becoming a subject matter expert in policies and procedures of the Patents department.
• Support the acquisition or sale of patent portfolios.
• Approve patent prosecution invoices in Legal Tracker and support the Patents team in their use of Legal Tracker.
• Support special projects and initiatives for the Patents department.
