Crowell & Moring LLP is seeking a mid-level associate for its Intellectual Property practice in several offices including Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Orange County, San Francisco and Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of patent litigation experience in federal courts, with duties spanning drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and conducting legal research. A CS/EE degree and hands-on coding are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of patent litigation experience in federal district courts.
• Drafting pleadings, motions and briefs; managing written discovery; and conducting legal research.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Litigate patent matters in federal courts, including pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Coordinate discovery, including written discovery and depositions.
• Collaborate with clients across industries on complex technologies.
