Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA seeks a lateral intellectual property litigation associate with at least two years of experience at a comparable law firm. A JD from an accredited school and admission to practice are required.

The role involves handling complex IP disputes, enforcing patents, trade secrets, and trademarks, and communicating technical issues to judges and juries, with opportunities to represent clients in bench and jury trials, arbitrations, and portfolio

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of IP litigation experience at a comparable law firm.
• Strong academic background preferred, with admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience handling complex IP disputes and ability to manage multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex IP disputes, including antitrust and competition issues.
• Enforce patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and other IP rights.
• Defend against infringement claims and manage patent license litigation.
• Communicate technical issues to judges and juries.
• Represent clients in bench and jury trials, as well as arbitrations.
• Advise on strategic and day-to-day IP portfolio management.
• Consult on trade secret protection, patent pools, and joint licensing programs.
