Job Description

A global law firm is seeking a mid-level Patent Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded Intellectual Property and Technology group in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 5-8 years of patent litigation experience, particularly in life sciences and ANDA litigation cases. You will work with a diverse client base, ranging from large multinational corporations to innovative startups across a wide range of industries.

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of patent litigation, including managing written discovery, brief writing, deposition taking, and preparation. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys on complex cases while building your own client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of patent litigation experience, specifically with life sciences and ANDA litigation.
• Experience with all aspects of patent litigation, including managing discovery, drafting briefs, taking depositions, and preparing for trial.
• Must have over three years of experience taking depositions.
• Strong academic credentials, with excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Prior experience at a regional or national law firm is preferred.
• Must be admitted to the New York Bar.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $365,000 to $435,000, based on experience and qualifications.
