OUR CLIENT

Our client is a leading intellectual property firm in Denver, recently named to the Best Law Firms of 2024. They provide comprehensive IP services to in-house counsel at Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, startups, and inventors globally across various technologies. They are hiring a Patent Prosecution Associate, with options for hybrid work from Denver or fully remote from most US states. Candidates must be barred in their resident state. The billable expectation is 1750 hours annually.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft and prosecute US patent applications
• Coordinate responses to foreign office actions

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or computer science
• Must be admitted to the USPTO
• 2-6 years of patent prosecution experience
• Experience with patent applications in electrical, electro-mechanical, software, and computer architecture fields
