Job summary

Eye Surgery Center of Nashville is seeking a PAT RN to join our ophthalmology surgery team. You will perform pre-admission assessments, educate patients, and support anesthesia and surgeons to ensure safe, efficient care.

We offer a balanced schedule Mon-Thu with occasional half-day Fridays, competitive benefits, and a collaborative, patient‑focused culture. Current Tennessee RN licensure and 2 years of nursing/PAT/LPN experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with previous PAT, LPN experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, including pre-operative instructions and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive care plan.
