Job summary

Eye Specialty Group is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide perioperative nursing care in our ambulatory surgical centers in Memphis, TN and nearby facilities in MS. You will assess patients, administer medications, place IVs and conduct waived testing, while completing required documentation and maintaining safety standards.

The role emphasizes ophthalmology-specific care, strong communication, and teamwork, with no weekend or major holiday shifts. Monday–Thursday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing (RN) required.
• Current RN license required.
• Ophthalmology/ASC experience preferred.
• Ability to work Monday–Thursday; no call, weekends or major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Circulate ophthalmology cases and assess patients per center policies.
• Administer medications, place IVs and perform waived testing.
• Complete all required documentation and charting.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate within the care team.
• Support and coordinate patient care across departments.
