Job summary

Stellar Professionals is seeking a Public Health Program Director 1 to lead Tennessee’s Parents as Teachers (PAT) Evidence-Based Home Visiting model. You will provide QA, technical assistance, contract monitoring, and statewide leadership for local PAT programs and collaborate with the PAT National Center.

You will oversee contract compliance, support CQI initiatives, and drive system enhancements for maternal and child health services across Tennessee, with hybrid in-office and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood, home visiting, family support, public health, or related field.
• Must be a Tennessee resident at time of hire.
• Experience in program monitoring, contract development, consultation, planning, and evaluation in public health or human services.
• Strong track record in facilitating meetings and coordinating inter-agency collaborations.
• Ability to travel across Tennessee to local communities and to Nashville for onboarding and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and operation of Tennessee’s PAT state office and provide statewide leadership and liaison duties.
• Conduct QA site visits, review contracts, and ensure alignment with program requirements.
• Collaborate with TDH epidemiologists and CQI leadership to evaluate performance and drive CQI.
• Align PAT policies and early childhood initiatives across the TDH system and promote health equity.
• Host meetings and participate in advisory groups with local partners and stakeholders.
• Assist with grants, events, and EBHV system expansion.
