Job summary

Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa on Alabama's Gulf Coast is seeking a Pastry Line Cook to join its renowned culinary team. You will craft pastries for conferences, events, and the on-site market, contributing to the pastry program’s quality and creativity.

You will work with the pastry team to design and execute desserts for multiple venues, participate in live action stations, and help maintain high standards and safety in a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a pastry kitchen is preferred.
• Wamiliarity with health and safety regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pastry preparation: prepare a variety of pastries and desserts.
• Collaborate with the pastry team to create innovative desserts for events and our coffee shop.
• Quality control: monitor freshness of ingredients and conduct regular checks.
• Health compliance: follow proper food storage, labeling, and kitchen safety practices.
• Daily operations: assist in kitchen setup, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness.
