Job summary

Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company is seeking a Part-Time Pastry Cook for Devon Seafood + Steak. You will oversee the production and finishing of scratch-made cakes and desserts, ensuring high quality, consistency, and efficient execution.

Ideal candidates have pastry skills, at least 1 year of high-volume bakery or upscale restaurant experience, and ServSafe certification. Flexible schedule includes weekends and holidays, with employee perks at Hersheypark.

Qualifications

• Proficient pastry skills including icing, glazing and piping, torting/building of cakes and frames, and desserts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and train other employees.

Responsibilities

• Produce dessert and bakery products following recipes and Chef's directions.
• Monitor daily mise en place quality, FIFO rotation, and prep levels.
• Work safely with equipment, knives, hot surfaces, and steam.
• Write prep lists, control inventories, and manage par levels.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work environment and stations.
• Assist team members and demonstrate leadership within the station.
