Job summary

The Hotel Hershey, a luxury resort, is seeking an experienced pastry professional to join its busy pastry department. You will produce a variety of pastries and baked goods with high quality and efficiency, under the guidance of the Executive Pastry Chef.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year high product scratch bakery experience with a focus in yeast dough.
• Degree or Certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts; 2 years related work experience may substitute for education.
• Must obtain ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce pastries and baked goods with little supervision while maintaining quality standards.
• Lead culinary interns and lower classification cooks in daily tasks and organization.
• Assist in developing and writing new menu ideas and recipes with seasonality.
