Job summary

Ultipro in Milwaukee is seeking a Pastry Cook 2 for the first shift. Starting at $16.98 per hour, you will perform intermediate pastry and baking duties, measuring and mixing ingredients, to create specialty desserts and baked goods while ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain safety and sanitation, rotate inventory, assist with opening/closing duties, and comply with internal controls and policies.

Qualifications

• Intermediate baking skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; six months of related experience required.
• Ability to obtain ServSafe certifications within 90 days.
• Ability to use basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate pastry and baking duties, including measuring and mixing ingredients to make specialty desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
• Use and clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils safely (ovens, mixers, knives).
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized working environment, in collaboration with Stewards.
• Learn to perform more advanced pastry duties and assist other culinary team members.
• Assist in storing and rotating inventories as needed.
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
• Comply with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
