Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas.
• Meet with the Head Cook/Sous Chef to review assignments and business levels.
• Prepare menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Communicate needs during busy periods to ensure guest service.
• Inform Head Cook of excess items for specials or other uses.
• Follow proper storage procedures as per health and hotel standards.
• Minimize waste and control food costs.
• Review work status and follow up with the Head Cook before leaving.

Qualifications

• Previous experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food handling certification if required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
