Beatrix - Streeterville is hiring Pastry Cooks to join our team in Chicago. You will assist in the preparation, production and presentation of pastries and desserts, following prescribed recipes and requests.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastry/baking preferred.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries, baked goods and desserts according to recipes.
• Follow portioning controls and par levels.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Communicate delays or issues to the Coordinator.
• Read thermometer accurately and monitor temperatures.
• Stay organized in a fast-paced, busy kitchen.
• Support team and follow employment policies.
