Job summary

Quail West in Naples, FL is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our Culinary team. You will prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and food safety for our members and guests.

We offer a full-time role with a pay rate of $20.00-$22.00 per hour, flexible availability including weekends and holidays, and a range of benefits. Join us to contribute to exceptional dining experiences at a premier private club.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and food safety practices.
• Previous pastry preparation or professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Creativity and attention to presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, pies, and desserts.
• Assist the Pastry Chef with daily preparation and special event orders.
• Create attractive dessert presentations, decorations, and fillings.
• Maintain consistency in quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor baking equipment and assist with inventory management.
• Collaborate with the Culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as needed.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Food safety or culinary certification preferred.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
