Prepare and present all plated desserts, finish cakes and torts, and assist in all baking and pastry production according to club recipes and standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the baker with bread production when needed.
• Prepare and serve items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Prepare all baked goods, puddings, gelatins, frozen desserts, stewed and baked fruits, pies, cakes, cookies, French pastries, and other baked items.
• Help maintain the cleanliness of the pastry shop.
• Notify the Pastry Chef in advance of expected product shortages.
• Requisition supplies as needed to prepare menu items.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules at all times.
• Maintain the highest sanitary conditions.
• Assist the Pastry Chef in completing other duties as assigned.
• Store food properly, labeled and dated.
