Job summary

Littleton's Market's North Market Bakery is seeking a pastry-focused teammate to craft our pastries and support both Upper Arlington and downtown locations.

Experience with from-scratch pastries is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. You will work in a busy bakery, ensuring quality, sanitation, and timely dessert service across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bakery experience required.
• Lamination and yeasted dough experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake cakes, cookies, pastries, tarts, and breads per recipes.
• Create, assemble, and decorate desserts, including icing, sugar work, and plating for service.
• Maintain inventory of ingredients, restock, and adhere to sanitation rules.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and measure ingredients accurately.
• Assist pastry chefs and coordinate dessert service with kitchen staff.

Job Summary

- Join our North Market Bakery Team in crafting our pastries. As part of Littleton's Market, you'll be helping supply our Upper Arlington and our downtown locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with preparing pastries from scratch, but we are willing to train the right candidate if they have the right experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and baking cakes, cookies, pastries, tarts, and breads based on established recipes
• Creating, assembling, and decorating desserts, including icing, sugar work, and plating for service
• Maintaining inventory of ingredients, restocking, and adhering to strict sanitation and health regulations
• Ensuring all products meet quality and consistency standards, measuring ingredients carefully, often using weight for accuracy
• Assisting pastry chefs and working with other kitchen staff to coordinate dessert service
