The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch is the core amenity of one of the most successful master-planned communities in Texas, covering over 9,100 acres in the Texas Hill Country. This unique facility fosters a family atmosphere created by members and ownership, maintaining a laid-back culture while upholding high standards.

In line with our commitment to providing the best experience for our members, we have expanded our Food and Beverage Department with new venues and menus. Our brand-new kitchen and dining facilities are now open.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our exemplary staff. Our chef-run scratch kitchen offers an excellent opportunity to gain pastry experience in a fine dining environment. If you are familiar with or eager to learn about designing seasonal and special event confections using high-quality luxury ingredients, we invite you to join our talented pastry team.

Pastry Cook Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare a wide variety of baked goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, etc., following traditional and modern recipes.
  • Produce all baked goods, including artisan breads, rolls, muffins, laminated Danish, croissants, doughnuts, etc.
  • Develop, design, and create new ideas and items for the restaurant, lodges, and club events.
  • Create innovative desserts to engage and interest members.
  • Ensure high quality across all dessert offerings.
  • Follow proper handling and temperature control procedures for all food products.
  • Decorate pastries and desserts with various icings and toppings to ensure attractive presentation.
  • Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to meet standards.
  • Assist in food presentation and create decorative displays.
  • Attend scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively with a variety of team members.
  • Recognize superior quality products, presentations, and flavors.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards.
