Job summary

Sur La Table in Boulder, CO seeks a Chef Instructor, Pastry to be the in-store expert for baking and pastry arts. You will deliver hands-on pastry classes, share techniques, and provide personalized instruction to support company initiatives.

You will drive class enrollments and sales of bakeware and decorating tools while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Maintain food safety and inventory in a dynamic class environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in culinary arts preferred; extensive culinary experience may suffice.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and create memorable, educational experiences.
• Deliver pastry and baking classes that reflect the company’s standards.
• Drive sales of bakeware, mixers, and decorating tools through classes.
