Job summary

José Andrés Group (JAG) in Miami Beach seeks a Pastry Chef de Partie to join its luxury hotel operations. The CDP will prepare, produce and plate high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods under the direction of the Executive Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous Chef.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical pastry skills, exceptional organization, and a collaborative mindset to support banquet service, events, and daily pastry production across restaurants and venues.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute desserts, pastries, baked goods according to recipes.
• Maintain consistent presentation and portion control.
• Prepare mise en place for service, banquets, and events.
• Assist with breads and breakfast pastries as needed.
• Coordinate with Pastry Leadership on shortages and challenges.
• Support seasonal menu changes and new pastry initiatives.
