JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery in Paso Robles is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to create chocolates, breads, and desserts for the restaurant, banquets, and events. You will work with the Pastry Chef to maintain high quality and safety standards.

This role requires 3+ years pastry experience, culinary school a plus, Food Handlers Certificate, and the ability to multitask and work cleanly in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. Compensation ranges $22-$24 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years pastry experience in a restaurant/hotel (Michelin experience a plus but not required).
• Culinary school a plus (not required).
• Food Handlers Certificate.
• Highly passionate about culinary and pursuit of perfection.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work clean and efficiently.
• Effective problem solving skills / Solution oriented.
• Strong organizational skills.

The Pastry Chef de Partie is responsible for making desserts and chocolates for the restaurants, banquets, breakfast and any other culinary related operations. The Pastry Chef de Partie is responsible for the production of their products to be done consistently, efficiently and within the quality levels set by the Chef, Forbes 5 star or Michelin. The Pastry Chef de Partie is responsible for working safely and cleanly within the safety and sanitization standards set forth by the health department and the chef. They'll assist the Pastry Chef with overseeing and making desserts and chocolates, ensuring quality of pastry preparations while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

This position is based at our restaurant on 11680 Chimney Rock Road, Paso Robles.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour. Final compensation is dependent upon skills and experience.
