JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery in Paso Robles, CA is seeking a Server Assistant to support the dining team and uphold Michelin-level service standards. You will assist with setup, maintain water and beverage service, and help execute courses in sync with the Captain and kitchen.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in upscale dining or 2+ years as back waiter in Forbes/Michelin environments, and must be able to work Thu-Sun late shifts with weekend availability. Competitive hourly pay plus tips.

• Reset and flip tables post-departure with attention to detail and speed

Our restaurant team is growing and we're hiring a Server Assistant. TheServer Assistantplays a key support role in the seamless execution of service, maintaining the flow and rhythm of the dining room. In this role, you will be responsible for building and resetting tables, marking flatware and glassware, running and clearing courses, maintaining water and beverage service, and ensuring the Lead Servers are consistently supported. This position requires speed, precision, and a proactive mindset to uphold Michelin-level dining and Forbes 5-star service standards.

This position is based at our JUSTIN Estate: 11680 Chimney Rock Road, Paso Robles, CA 93446.The work schedule is Thursday - Sunday (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM or closing).This position requires weekend availability and the ability to work late nights.

Qualifications

The Server Assistant must possess a strong sense of urgency, organization, and situational awareness, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; they should know proper table settings, course progression, and stemware, communicate clearly with the service team, and maintain a discreet, polished presence in the dining room.

• 3+ years experience in serving in casual, upscale restaurantsOR2+ years experience as a back waiter in a Forbes 5-star or Michelin restaurants
• Ability to work full-time (30-35 hours per week) andlate nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, solution-oriented mindset, and attention to detail are essential
• Valid Food Handler’s Card
• Clear and calm verbal communication
• Solution-oriented,skilled at proactively identifying service challengesand supporting servers to ensure flawless fine dining experiences
• Ability to work quickly in a high-paced, physically and mentally demanding environment
• Must comply with all uniform and grooming standards, including wearing an approved, clean, and well-maintained uniform and maintaining a neat, professional appearanceand cleanliness about their person

Pay Rate: $19.50 - $22.00 /hour plus tips per shift. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
