Marietta Country Club in Kennesaw, GA is seeking a Pastry Assistant to support pastry production for dining room, banquets, and buffets. You will follow pastry recipes, decorate items for events, and uphold high food quality and sanitation standards in the pastry shop.

Requirements include at least 3 years of pastry experience in hospitality, strong time management, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Some Sundays and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of pastry experience in the hospitality industry.
• Must be able to manage time wisely.
• Must have a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
• Must be a self-starter with ownership for assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and decorates special pastry items as directed by Pastry Chef.
• Ensures sanitation and cleanliness in the bake shop at all times.
• Establishes controls to minimize waste and theft.
• Follows safety and sanitation guidelines and accidents prevention.
• Assists in developing bakery recipes and techniques for pastry production.
