Job description

Responsibilities

As a pastor, you provide spiritual leadership to members of the church, including preparing weekly sermons, preaching and conducting worship services. It is your responsibility to interpret biblical scripture for the congregation as needed. You may also provide care and counseling to members and assist them in crisis situations. In addition, you may be asked to officiate at special services such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals. You collaborate with choir leaders to integrate music into church services as needed. Additional responsibilities may include:
