Job summary

fairlife, LLC is seeking a Processing Operator in Coopersville, MI for a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend. The role covers operating pasteurization, CIP, and QA sample collection while maintaining GMP compliance.

A High School diploma is required and safety is paramount. Responsibilities include startup/shutdown procedures, equipment cleaning, and assisting with training new team members.

Qualifications

• Must work in a safe, efficient manner and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.
• Must be able to troubleshoot small problems and know when to escalate to management.
• Must be willing to ask for assistance when the process is unclear.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment (Aldose, UHT, CIP) safely and in compliance with GMPs.
• Clean and sanitize equipment daily and perform CIP/COP as required.
• Know startup and shutdown procedures and monitor process controls.
• Take product samples for QA testing and monitor CIP chemistry
• Service pumps, valves and heat exchangers and assist with preventative maintenance.
• Develop and train team members.
