Job summary

Fairlife, LLC in Coopersville, MI is seeking a Night Shift Processing Operator to cover a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with hours 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. You will operate Tetra Aldose, Alsafe and UHT equipment, monitor process controls, and perform CIP/COP cleaning following GMPs.

Responsibilities include taking QA samples, maintaining safety procedures, training teammates, and supporting maintenance per schedule. Base pay offers strong benefits and a bonus-eligible environment in a non‑exempt role.

Qualifications

• Must work in a safe, efficient manner and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot small problems, and be able to discern when issues may require input from levels of authority within the corporation.
• Must be willing to ask for assistance when the process is unclear.
• High School level verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computational skills required. Simple math reasoning required.
• Must be able to operate the equipment effectively after the appropriate break‑in period.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tetra Aldose, Alsafe and UHT (Ultra-high-temperature) pasteurization equipment in the processing area in a safe and sanitary manner following all GMP’s.
• Monitor and maintain process controls of heat exchangers process variables and documenting accurate recordings of process parameters while in operation.
• Cleaning the processing equipment which includes hand cleaning parts, clean-in-place (CIP) and clean out of place (COP) operations on a daily basis.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
• Know proper established start up and shut down procedures.
• CIP of Silos, and line circuits.
• Take proper samples of products for QA testing.
• Take proper samples to monitor CIP system for chemical strengths.
• Service pumps, valves and heat exchangers as needed and/or per preventative maintenance schedule.
• Develop and train team members.
