Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to bend, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a wet/humid environment.
• Follow GMPs, HACCP guidelines and safety regulations.
• Ability to operate packaging lines and related equipment.
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training processing and production personnel in the department.
• Update training for personnel when equipment or procedures change.
• Maintain safe work environment and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Help maintain sanitation standards of the facility.
• Coordinate with processors the timing and lines to meet production needs.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping for downtime, temperatures, and inspections.
• Communicate with shift changes to transfer production and scheduling information.
• Adhere to safety policies and provide direction to operators.
