University of South Carolina seeks a Lead Postal Courier/Passport Agent to manage mail, parcels, and passport services for the Columbia campus. The role supports USC Postal Services, processes inbound/outbound mail, and oversees student package pickup operations.

The position requires strong customer service, attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a standard 8:30am–5:00pm schedule and flexibility to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• Typically holds a high school diploma or GED.
• Requires 2+ years of job related experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and operate delivery vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Process, track, sort, and deliver mail and parcels for USC community including ~9,000 on-campus residents.
• Serve as U.S. Department of State Passport Acceptance Agent and maintain required certifications.
• Maintain parcel tracking, data entry, and student package operations.
• Unload, sort, and deliver mail on established routes and manage daily mileage logs.
