Job summary
Northwest Passage in Northwest Wisconsin is seeking a PassageWay Instructor to deliver instruction on a therapeutic lifestyle for youth as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care, supervision, and support to residents in a residential setting, tracking progress and serving as a positive role model.
The schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30 am-3:30 pm, with duties including leading fitness and outdoor activities, ensuring a safe, structured environment, and maintaining
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in outdoor/experiential education or related field preferred.
- Confidence in outdoor educational and leadership settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
- Prior experience in residential or mental health settings with youths.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction on practicing lifestyle components for youth.
- supervise youth in residential, outdoor, and community settings.
- Track progress and report to the treatment team.
- Transport youth using Northwest Passage vehicles.
- Complete required documentation within expected timeframes.
