IMEG Corporation in Pasadena, CA, seeks a Structural Engineering Intern for a 10–12 week summer program. You will assist with design, analysis, and implementation of structural systems under guidance from experienced engineers and consultants.

Responsibilities include research, documentation, coordination across teams, and periodic site observations to support budget-aware project delivery and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Skilled in AutoCAD and BIM software.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written form.

Responsabilités

• Assist with structural system design for building projects in accordance with applicable codes and company standards.
• Support engineering analysis, design, and implementation of structural systems in buildings and other structures.
• Research project resources and gather information to support design tasks.
• Help maintain project documentation, including design notebooks and permanent record files.
• Coordinate design activities and schedules with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, and supplier teams.
• Document design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while monitoring project progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy and completeness before final check.
• Assist with preparation and issuance of addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and support other services required by the contract services agreement.
• Work within the project's monetary budget and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.
