Description:
Purpose: This role will drive and coordinate activities that promote for an effective and efficient third-party vendor program, to ensure continuity and rigor of vendor risk management across the organization. Support organization in overall intake, operational, and administrative project risk management tasks. Lead smaller projects under the direction of management.
Responsibilities
• Drive the Vendor Risk Intake Process by collaborating and providing guidance to business leaders and stakeholders, to ensure milestones and deadlines are completed on time and within the scope of work
• Verifies and reviews vendor risk information in GRC risk tool for accuracy and conformance with established procedures; applies policies and procedures in determining completeness of documents, reports, records, and files
• Produce, review, and maintain reports (project plans, status reports, meeting materials, departmental reports)
• Respond to vendor management inquiries from internal and external individuals
• Manage small sized projects independently or assist on large or complex projects
• Supports organizational duties and other administrative activities as requested
• Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
• Project management experience
• Experience in one of the following areas: third-party risk management, strategic sourcing, vendor contracting, vendor management and/or supplier relationship management
Additional Qualifications
• Knowledge of risk and controls
• Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Distinct analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Intermediate expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience in vendor relations; HS Diploma or GED is required
• 2 years of work experience in an analyst and/or project management type position
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
