Job summary

Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a Party Planning Associate/Curbside Shopper to assist customers with event planning, create personalized menus, and manage Fresh to Go and curbside orders.

You will use our Party Planning Guide software, coordinate with Floral, Wine, Bakery, Produce Prep and Deli teams to fulfill orders, ensure accuracy, and deliver on time. Prior event planning or cash handling helps; reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in event planning preferred.
• Strong cash handling and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and services in the Party Planning Guide.
• Understand menu planning, portions, and wine pairings.
• Use the Party Planning Order Entry system accurately.
• Coordinate delivery and fulfillment with Floral, Wine, Bakery, Produce Prep, Deli, etc.
• Execute Fresh to Go services and ensure proper storage until delivery.
• Contact customers about substitutions and provide excellent service.
• Assist customers with orders, answer questions, and suggest items.
• Maintain knowledge of Gourmet to Go products.
• Refill Party Planning Guides and inserts store-wide.
• Attend Responsible Alcohol Sales training and follow guidelines.
• Operate cash register and handle payments when required.
• Stay organized, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
• Make deliveries to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
