Job summary

Main Event is seeking a part-time Party Host in Fayetteville, NC to energize birthday celebrations and ensure events run smoothly. You will welcome guests, guide activities, and help manage setup, execution, and teardown with a focus on safety and sanitation.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. No heavy experience is required, but hospitality or food-and-beverage background is a plus, and weekends may be required.

• Guest-focused mindset and strong customer service skills.
• Teamwork is essential to coordinate activities.
• Attention to detail for safety and sanitation compliance.
• Ability to multi-task across hosting duties and payments.
• Clear communication with management, team members, and guests.
• Prior food & beverage or party host experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with arriving birthday parties and host activities.
• Create memorable experiences by interacting with guests throughout the event.
• Monitor events, anticipate needs, and assist the party planner.
• Gather and store birthday gifts and cake as applicable.
• Process payment transactions and greet guests returning.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, so our birthday parents don’t have to!
