Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Fayetteville seeks a Party Host to energize birthday celebrations and ensure guests have fun from start to finish. You will manage scheduled activities, assist the party parent/planner, and keep the area safe and organized throughout the event.

The role emphasizes guest-focused service, multi-tasking, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic entertainment center and participate in exciting center openings.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset with strong service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, party-focused environment.
• Clear communication with management, team members, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with arriving birthday parties as their Host.
• Interact with party guests to create memorable experiences during the event.
• Monitor events and anticipate party needs to support the party parent/planner.
• Gather and store birthday gifts and cake when applicable.
• Process payment transactions and assist guests as they depart or return.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards at all times.

At Main Event, our Party Hosts are the life of the party and create unforgettable birthday memories! As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, so our birthday parents don’t have to! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout their scheduled activities (let’s get this party started!)
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with the party Guests throughout the birthday event
• Ensuring memorable birthday experiences by monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
