Job summary

Kindly Direct Care in Monroe Township, NJ is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one role supporting a 30-year-old adult with autism in home and community settings.

The DSP will guide activities such as yoga via instructional videos, help with routines, encourage independence, and communicate with the Kindly team. Schedule is four evenings per week, two hours per shift, with pay $18-$21 per hour. Driving is required for this role.

What You’ll Do

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
• Provide support to a highly functional 30-year-old adult with autism who enjoys staying active. The DSP will assist the individual with yoga by using instructional videos instead of attending an in-person class. The DSP should have experience with or knowledge of yoga and exercise and be comfortable guiding her through the videos and exercises., walking in the park, and participating in other fitness activities.

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
