Job Summary: Foundations Learning Academy is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Part‑Time Driver to transport children safely to and from our center and on field trips. This role ensures a secure and positive transportation experience while maintaining vehicle cleanliness, safety protocols, and accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport children while following all safety procedures.
• Ensure children are properly secured in age-appropriate restraints.
• Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and report any maintenance needs.
• Follow established routes and schedules while ensuring timely arrivals.
• Conduct routine bus evacuation drills and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (last 3 years).
• High school diploma or GED.
• First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Physical ability to assist children and handle emergency situations.
• Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff Certificate within 90 days of employment.
