Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to safely transport children and staff to school and activity locations. You’ll uphold safety procedures, maintain positive, caring interactions, and adapt to support needs across the team.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. As part of a supportive Learning Care Group environment, you’ll contribute to a positive, educational experience for children and families.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Safe driving record required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Flexibility regarding hours and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children and staff to and from school, field trips, and other locations.
• Ensure vehicle safety and perform routine maintenance checks as needed.
• Assist in classroom or other capacities as needed by the school team.

The Child Care Center Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting children and staff on field trips, to and from school, and other locations. The Driver ensures that the bus is regularly maintained and safe for driving under all applicable state and municipal regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Caring! Transport children in a bus or van from one loving, educational environment to another with a smiling face!
• Responsible! Ensure each child's safety by maintaining vehicle functionality regularly and implementing safety procedures with their school Director.
• Team player! The Driver may step into a Teacher role or assist in other capacities as needed.

Job Requirements:

• A valid driver's license
• Have and maintain a safe and violation free driving record.
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• Experience working with children
• Must be at least 21 years of age
