Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of parts operations and/or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Parts Department operations; 5–10 years of parts department or equivalent experience.
• Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; MVR check may be required.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience required.
• Excellent written, email, and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of union environments is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college/technical degree preferred.
• Must be self-motivated with time management, planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily operations of the Parts Department.
• Oversee the accurate processing, picking, handling, and distribution of parts for internal and external customers.
• Plan and manage daily staffing for Warehouse, Parts Counter, and administrative employees.
• Provide direction, training, coaching, and support to Parts Department staff.
• Review parts performance reports and inventory accuracy.
• Perform inventory control activities and related tasks, including counts and adjustments.
• Oversee warehouse organization, material flow, and logistics.
• Monitor order picking accuracy and implement process improvements.
• Manage Parts Stock Warranty and related processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve processes and customer service.
• Assist Parts Manager with staffing strategy and planning.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and safety meetings.
• Operate forklift or warehouse equipment as needed.
• Support during emergencies or peak workload.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
