Job summary

Altorfer Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to handle shipping/receiving, forklift operation, and inventory control in a busy parts department. The role requires basic computer skills and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, picking parts, assembling hydraulic hoses, and maintaining clean, organized storage areas. A High School diploma and 1–2 years warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of previous Warehouse experience preferred.
• Computer literate required. Familiar with programs such as UPS Worldship for shipping & receiving, Microsoft, Excel and Outlook preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment when entering the shop or warehouse.
• Excellent planning & organizational skills required
• Must be a self-starter, team oriented and commitment to detail
• Strong attendance record is required.
• Forklift experience is needed and customer service oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 75-100lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

Responsibilities

• Shipping/receiving parts.
• Load and unload trucks, operate forklift.
• Keep track of inventory storage.
• Order picking activities- pick parts orders and stock new inventory that comes in for Parts Department.
• Assemble hydraulic hoses.
• General housekeeping of the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned
