Job summary

Goodfellow Corporation is seeking a Parts Manager in Arizona to lead Parts Counter, Inside Sales, and Warehouse operations. The role focuses on safety, customer support, parts sales, inventory management, purchasing, and staff development.

The manager will collaborate with the General Manager and multiple departments to keep customer equipment and Goodfellow operations moving, while building product knowledge and leadership depth within the team.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive experience in parts, inventory, warehouse operations, product support, or a related industrial environment.
• At least two years of experience leading employees, setting expectations, and improving team performance.
• Working knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, order fulfillment, pricing, margin, and department-level financial performance.
• Experience using an ERP, dealer-management, or inventory system and standard Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong customer-service, communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read parts diagrams, equipment manuals, or technical information and learn Goodfellow product lines.
• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience with aggregate, mining, construction, crushing, screening, conveying, or heavy equipment is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Own safety for Parts Counter, Inside Sales, and Warehouse operations and prioritize safety.
• Model and enforce Goodfellow safety requirements, including forklift operation, PPE, housekeeping, and pedestrian safety.
• Conduct regular safety discussions, correct unsafe conditions or behavior promptly, and ensure employees receive required training.
• Partner with the General Manager and Safety team on inspections, incident reporting, corrective actions, and emergency procedures.
• Protect employees, customers, inventory, facilities, tools, equipment, and vehicles through sound controls and timely issue reporting.
• Set clear expectations and provide daily direction for Inside Sales, Parts Counter, and Warehouse employees.
• Plan staffing and schedules to provide dependable coverage for customers and internal departments.
• Hire, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate employees. Address performance and attendance concerns promptly and consistently.
• Build an accountable, solutions-focused culture where employees communicate early, follow through, and help one another succeed.
• Develop product knowledge, system skills, customer-service capability, and leadership depth across the department.
• Oversee purchasing, receiving, storage, picking, staging, packing, shipping, customer pickup, and delivery coordination.
