Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a highly motivated, organized Parts, Warehouse & Inventory Specialist to own the parts department and warehouse operations in a hands-on role. This position emphasizes accuracy, organization, and proactive problem solving to keep parts moving efficiently for technicians and customers.

You will maintain stock integrity, process orders, and coordinate with customers, vendors, and shop personnel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts warehouse.
• Receive incoming parts and verify quantities and accuracy.
• Properly label, stock, and organize inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and locations.
• Perform regular cycle counts and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Pull and stage parts for technicians and customer orders.
• Handle incoming wholesale parts calls and customer inquiries.
• Identify parts, check availability, prepare quotes, and process orders.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding pricing, availability, backorders, and delivery.
• Work with vendors to locate and order parts.
• Track open orders and follow up to make sure parts arrive when promised.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, returns, cores, and warranty items.
• Help identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory.
• Keep accurate records of parts coming into and leaving the warehouse.
• Make local parts pickups and deliveries when needed.
• Work closely with service and shop personnel to make sure technicians have the parts they need.
• Take ownership of problems and follow them through until they are resolved.

Position Summary - Normal Business Hours, M-F, $25-35/hour based on experience
