Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible primarily for the maintenance and good order of the shipping and receiving records and work area. This person will administer internal procedures and reports and carry out jobs and/or assignments set forth by the department manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received.
2. Process items for shipment according to established guidelines and procedures.
3. Receive items according to established guidelines and procedures.
4. Communicate incoming and outgoing status to appropriate internal customers and managers.
5. Handle correspondence as directed by the Department Manager.
6. Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area.
7. Ensure effective tracking of shipments.
8. Handle selected customer complaints.
9. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
10. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
2. All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
3. All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
