Job summary

TransChicago Truck Group in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle warehousing tasks, inventory control, and recordkeeping. This role supports daily operations across receiving, stocking, picking, packing for will call, and coordinating with drivers to deliver parts.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of industry experience. The schedule is Tue-Fri 9am-5:30pm and Sat 8am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Check in daily incoming shipments for all vendors.
• Put away incoming stock with proper barcode labeling.
• Check in incoming inter-branch shipments.
• Update stock and packing slips, generate reports as needed.
• Pull customer orders and prepare for will call or shipment.
• Maintain will-call inventory and related paperwork.
• Dispatch parts drivers to delivery addresses.
• Process returns and pull from stock.
• File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts.
