Job description

The Parts Warehouse Associate I is responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining an organized warehouse operation through basic warehouse processes and inventory management.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe (COPS) work environment.
• Understand basic warehouse operations including picking, packing, staging, putting away, delivering orders, and maintaining customer will call.
• Have basic to intermediate knowledge of cores, ship desk, hose fabrication, and will call.
• Follow basic principles of inventory control.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience/training.
• Must pass the WorkSteps test for this position.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Availability for weekend, holiday, or evening work.
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions and communications.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to interpret data and graphs.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Problem-solving skills involving standardized situations.
• Knowledge of database, internet, inventory, and order processing software.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements, if applicable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
