J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Westfield, MA is seeking a Parts Technician II to ensure required parts are available for truck and trailer repairs.

You will manage inventory, perform audits, and process core and warranty returns, with potential for outdoor work and varied shifts, including nights and weekends. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and up to 18 months of experience. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and use PPE as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent and up to 12–18 months of direct experience or training.
• Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill parts requests by technicians and ensure proper charging to the unit under repair.
• Observe all Company safety requirements.
• Mentor and train other shop personnel.
• Maintain JBHT information systems regarding parts receipts, shipments, inventories and usage.
• Receive inbound shipments and stock parts in proper locations and conduct cycle counts.
• Ensure each unit has required inventory and determine usability of equipment.

Manage inventory stock levels, perform audits, and submit orders to maintain an adequate supply of parts. Maintain information systems and process core and warranty returns according to Company requirements.
