Job summary

JB Hunt in Stockton, CA is seeking a Mobile Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers and related equipment in customer sites and rail yards using a mobile service truck.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, ABS troubleshooting and completing work orders. Job requires outdoor work, multi-shift availability, and the ability to mentor trainees as needed.

Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in the U.S. and meet minimum age requirement.
  • 2 years of experience in semi-tractor or semi-trailer maintenance and repair.
  • Clean motor vehicle record per JB Hunt guidelines.
  • Own basic tools or willing to purchase through toolbox program.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and across multiple shifts, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Perform intermediate-level preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors and trailers.
  • Troubleshoot and repair ABS system.
  • Operate the mobile service truck at customer sites and rail yards.
  • Accurately complete work orders and document damages.

Hunt tractors, trailers, chassis, containers or power equipment.
