The role involves shadowing a senior technician, performing routine repairs, and learning shop safety and company procedures. As a trainee, you may work outdoors and across multiple shifts, including nights and weekends. • 18 years of age or older.

• GED or High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Shadow a senior team member to learn repairs to company and manufacturer specifications, complete work orders, and train to meet standard repair times.
• Follow shop safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers.
• Train to be efficient in preventive maintenance and basic repairs related to air brake systems and FHWA inspections.

Hunt Shop rules, policies, and procedures. The incumbent will learn to become efficient in, but not limited to, Air Break Systems and FHWA Inspections and the general repairs associated with them.
