Job summary

Peterson Trucks, Inc. in San Leandro, CA is seeking a Parts Associate to support internal customers, coordinate parts with technicians, and manage service inventory.

You will input parts into CDK, process repair orders, generate invoices, and handle NexPart orders while maintaining accurate pricing and timely processing. A valid driver's license is required; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in parts or sales, preferably in a heavy industrial environment.
• Automotive or heavy-duty truck experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal customer requests and sell parts when needed.
• Generate invoices for repair orders and coordinate with Technicians on parts.
• Maintain Idealease parts inventory at optimal levels.
• Input parts for Idealease repair orders into the CDK system.
• Research, source, and acquire parts for multiple Idealease locations.
• Turn around and close repair orders in a timely manner.
• Process NexPart orders for service trucks.
• Maintain punctual, regular attendance and pay invoices timely.
• Manage core process and returns; adjust costs to current pricing.
• Pickup and deliver parts as needed; operate company vehicle if required.
